Responsible for university collaboration and Atlas Copco Research School for industrial Ph.D.-students. TECoSA is a Vinnova center that started on March 26, 2020. The center brings together KTH and 13 industrial partners. The aim is to provide methods, tools and theory for building safe, secure and predictable systems relying on edge computing. Lead facilitator for Ph.D. course on self-management, innovation and collaboration.

Pre-development Manager, Scania CV AB 2016 – 2018

Manager with responsibility for research and pre-development of the power train control system in heavy vehicles. Project portfolio includes development of simulation and model based development, optimal control of conventional and electrified power trains, diagnosis and big data analysis as well as control strategies for new conceptual research demonstrators. Responsible for the development of research strategy and coordination of research activities with universities and research departments across Scania and within the VW Group. Member of the research council at Scania Research & Development and the board of LINK-SIC, a Vinnova Excellence Centre at Linköping University.

Manager, Scania CV AB; Södertälje, 2013 – 2016 

Joined Scania as an interim manager for technical simulation at Axle development on a consultancy basis in 2012, continued as employee in 2013. Responsibilities includes management of the axle technical simulation team, consultant assignments, planning, salaries, strategy as well as heading the research activities and technical road map at Axle development. Member of the research council at Scania Research & Development.

Interim Manager, Scania CV AB; Södertälje, 2012 -2013

Heading a team responsible for all technical simulations of the axle transmission and supporting structure as well as axle gear design. The team is also responsible for the development of topology optimisation at Scania R&D.

Expert in rotordynamics. Responsibilities include advising colleagues, develop business opportunities and strategy as well as heading client and research projects.

Principal specialist for electromechanical and control engineering. Responsibilities include heading research, development, internal and external teaching of electromechanical and control technologies, commercialisation and external promotion of electromechanical services. Member of the Technology Management Team as well as the Lloyd’s Register Renewable Technology Theme Panel. Consultant in machinery dynamics and electromechanics for the Energy, Marine and Transportation sectors. 

Consultant, Lloyd’s Register ODS; Stockholm, 2008 – 2009

Joined LR ODS in 2008 as a consultant, have been working on a variety of problems including industrial rotors, offshore requirements of high speed centrifuges, piping systems and power generating units. Managed research projects aimed at acquiring a deeper understanding of electromechanical and control engineering problems in the marine and energy sectors. Worked with business development activities in the power generation sector.

Ph.D – student, Luleå University of Technology 2004-2008

Research in the field of rotordynamics and electromechanics of hydropower rotor systems. Was project manager for the Ph.D.-project 2007-08. Performed teaching in machinery dynamics and product development. Guest researcher at Chalmers Institute of Technology 2006 and Stanford University 2008. Member of the board of Faculty of Engineering as well as member of the board of the association of Doctoral candidates 2007-08.

Headed the work within the board and collaborated with the owners to re-organize the business and prepare the company for liquidation.
